Terms of sale and licence

Your licence

Buying VCam Studio gives you a perpetual, non-transferable licence to use the version you bought, and any updates released during your update period, on the number of PCs stated for your plan.

Personal and Studio

Personal licences are for individuals, including freelancers and sole traders. Studio licences are for organisations.

Trial

The trial is free for the first 20 hours the app is in use and includes every feature. After the trial the core app keeps working, and a licence is needed to keep using the paid features.

Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders and provides all customer service enquiries about payments and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/buyer-terms). Prices in the UK and EU include VAT; elsewhere, tax is added at checkout where applicable.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the software is limited to the price you paid for your licence, and we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue or data, or for indirect losses. VCam Studio is provided with reasonable skill and care, but because it works alongside other software we cannot promise it will run without interruption on every PC or with every video service. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales; if you live elsewhere you also keep the protection of your own country’s consumer law.
